Mrs. Collins has amazing math students!
Just a friendly reminder concerning progress reports. Typically at this point in the year, we have very few assignments that are in the gradebook. If your student recieved a low grade on a test (the only test we have taken this year), or failed to turn in and/or complete an assignment, their grade will be low at this point. If you refer to the syllabus that you signed at the beginning of the year, you will see that all of classes use weighted categories and many of those categories have only one assignment in them at this point. For example, we have had one major lab in General Biology

Mrs. Collins has the best students ever!
Here is the spelling list for this week. We are working on Math words. :) They are also on Spellingcity.com to practice.
Progress reports will be coming home soon. It is important to note that these grades are extremely early. In many classes only 10% of the final points have been included. It is very possible for grades to be very different by the end of the semester. Please let me know if you have any questions.
