What an amazing first week of school! We practiced walking in line, learned routines, created rules, voiced our opinions and had a lot of fun. This class even earned 20 minutes of PAT time. This week we will begin with our first Spelling list. It will be another stellar week.
If your child chooses to participate in Jean’s Day on Fridays they must pay $1.00.
If you have any questions about our school schedule please look on our website visioncharter.net.
I had a great time last week getting to know your child. We took several pre-tests, not for grades, that will give me an idea of the academic level of your child. At the end of the year, your child will take the same tests and I will see how much he/she has grown over the course of the year. I hope your child enjoyed their first four days of school as much as I did! Once again I am blessed with an amazing group of kids!

4th Period Section 1-1 Lesson Check #1-8 all
See you on Friday!
I want to thank everyone who utilized the online schedule request change system this year. I think it worked well to make changes ahead of the start of a new school year. Tomorrow, Friday, 8/19 at 3:00pm, NO further changes to schedules will occur. This first week's time period will have allowed your student (or you, the student) the ability to experience the class and to decide whether or not a change was warranted. Remember that changes are not guaranteed! Class size, graduation requirements and other variables have to be taken into consideration.
Please read the class syllabus and sign the signature sheet.
Bring signed sheet to class on Friday.
4th period- Finish Algebra Readiness
Return Signature Sheet
I am so excited to start this school year! Thank you for 2 wonderful days. You are all great students!
