Newsletter 12-10-17

This year, in lieu of having a giving tree, we will be collecting monetary donations and the money will go towards securing winter clothing, footwear, and resources for families needing support this winter.

Student Government will be making donation jars for each grade level.  There is also a donation jar located at the front office.  We thank you ahead of time for your generosity.

Christmas Party

We will be having a Christmas party in our classroom on Thursday, December 21st.  Our party will start at 1:30 and end at 2:50. If you would like to come in and help with a small group, please fill out the form that was sent home on Friday and send it back to school with your child.  You may also email me if you are interested in helping out.   I’m hoping to split the children into 4 groups and have them rotate through 4 different centers in 20 minute intervals.  The centers will be games, crafts, and snacks.

If you would like to bring treats for this event that would be greatly appreciated.  It would also be helpful if you indicate what type of treat you would like to bring.  I will email out a list of what treats are being brought to those of you who volunteer.

Spelling Test will be given on Tuesday, December 12th.         #12

There will not be any testing the last week of school before Christmas Break so no new Spelling Words/Phonograms will come home with your child on Tuesday.

Keep up to date on your child’s grades by signing in to the Parent Portal. I will keep grades up to date on this site, and message you if your child receives a grade less than 70%.  In the event that you lose or forget your Infinite Campus log on information please contact Amy Bowers at amybowers@visioncsd.org
