Please remember to have your child return his/her Weekly Reading Log tomorrow.  A new one for this week will be sent home tomorrow as well.  This Reading Log is for a grade for report cards.

Your child will also bring home his/her weekly Home Fluency Reading Folder tomorrow.  The instructions are included inside this folder.

College Week

This week is College Week at Vision Charter.  To celebrate, Ms. Dowski, the counselor, came around to all the elementary classrooms and took pictures of the kids holding a sign indicating what they would like to be when they grow up.  My class LOVED participating in this event.  These pictures will be on display in the school with the title “All Aboard!  We’re Catching the Career Express Train!”

Thursday will be Career Choice Day where your child may wear clothing depicting his/her future career choice.

Thanksgiving Break will be November 20-24th.

Christmas Program

The Kindergarten/First Grade Christmas program is the evening of Tuesday, November 28th.   Both 2nd grade classrooms will be playing hand-bells to start the program.  We have been practicing our Christmas songs so we will be ready to dazzle you with our hand-bell skills!  More information will be sent home at a later date.
