Newsletter 10-22-17

Please remember to have your child return his/her Weekly Reading Log tomorrow.  A new one for this week will be sent home tomorrow as well.  This Reading Log is for a grade for report cards.

Your child will also bring home his/her weekly Home Fluency Reading Folder tomorrow.  The instructions are included inside this folder.

OCTOBER BOOK:

The School-wide book for October will be Journey to the Center of the Earth. I would like to have 5 different centers that the kids rotate through.  Each center will be 20 minutes long.  The centers will consist of 2 game activities, 2 craft activities, and a party treats center.  I am hoping that I can get at least 1 volunteer to run each center.  I would like to be able to circulate through the activities and take pictures of the kids having fun!  Our party will start at 1:00 and go until time to go home.   At this point, this is what I have for treats and volunteers:
